Global emission sources of greenhouse gas emissions from industrial processes: SF6

This Supporting Information Paper provides a more comprehensive picture of global SF6 emissions, by putting them in the broader perspective of total global emissions from industrial non-combustion processes and of total global emission trends of greenhouse gases. In addition, the magnitude and regional distribution of the various SF6 sources is discussed as well as the recent 1990-1995 trends of global total emissions per source category. The paper concludes with a review of available emission factors for SF6 and their uncertainty (order-ofmagnitude, based on expert judgement).
